Dr. Jennifer D. Hogan
Dr. Jennifer Hogan holds the position of Vice President Proteome Databases. Jennifer joined BIOBASE Corporation in 2005 when BIOBASE acquired Proteome, a subsidiary of Incyte Corporation in Beverly, Massachusetts.
Jennifer received a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Michigan and graduated with a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of New Hampshire where she worked to characterize a Caenorhabditis elegans ortholog of the mammalian Src proto-oncogene. She has more than 10 years of management experience within the biotechnology industry.
Prior to joining BIOBASE, Jennifer was primarily responsible for managing Incyte Corporation’s network of curators – the scientific experts who contribute content to the Proteome databases. In her current role, Jennifer oversees the product management team for BIOBASE’s portfolio of products, seeking to combine high quality data with powerful analytical tools in order to create a product that meets the needs of customers.
